Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up subscription box feature for Subscription for WooCommerce plugin
2.Download and Install
Install the Subscription for WooCommerce Pro by WP Swings.
- Purchase the plugin and download it.
- Log in to your WooCommerce store’s admin panel.
- Navigate to “Plugins” > “Add New” in the WordPress dashboard.
- Click the “Upload Plugin” button and upload the plugin file.
After uploading, click “Install Now” and then “Activate“
3.Subscription Box Setup
To begin using the Subscription Box Feature, head over to the Subscription for WooCommerce plugin in your dashboard.
Navigate to the Subscription Box section, where you’ll see an option to Enable the Subscription Box Feature. Just flip the toggle to on to enable this feature.
Add to Cart Text for Subscription Box: Use this field to set a custom text for the Add to Cart button. This will appear on all your subscription box products.
Place Order Text for Subscription Box: Use this field to set a custom text for the Place Order button. It will show up on your subscription box products during checkout.
Note: If you’re using the free version of the plugin, you can only create one subscription box product. But if you upgrade to the Pro version, you’re free to create as many subscription box products as you’d like!
4.Subscription Box Setting
Now that you’ve turned on the Subscription Box Feature and picked your button text, let’s create a subscription product.
Create a Subscription Box Product
- Go to WooCommerce > Products > Add New Product.
- Give your product a name.
Scroll down to the Product Data section.\
Pick the Subscription Box
- Next to Product Data, choose Subscription Box as the product type.
- Click on the Subscription Box Settings to open the options.

- Subscription Box Price: Type in the price for your subscription box.
- Manage Subscription Box Price Through All Selected Products (PRO): This is a Pro feature. If you check this box, the price will change based on what products your customers pick—it adjusts automatically!
- Subscription Per Interval: Choose how often the box is delivered—daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Subscription Expiry Interval: Decide when the subscription ends—daily, weekly, monthly, or even yearly.
Set Up the Subscription Products
- Apply Subscription Box To: Pick if this applies to specific products or whole categories.
- Select Products: Choose the products or categories you want in the box, then move on.
- Box Step Label: Customize the text that shows up on the subscription box popup.
When you’re done, save your product, and your subscription product is ready to go!
How It Looks to Your Customers
- Free Version Limit: If you’re using the free version of the plugin, you can only create one subscription box product. Want to make more? Upgrade to the Pro version!
- Free Version Rules: In the free version, customers can only pick one quantity of each product. Plus, they can’t add another subscription box product to their cart if they already have one.
- Cart Restriction: If there’s any other product in the cart, the subscription box won’t be added. This means the subscription box must be purchased on its own
